Raymond Bonilla
Raymond Bonilla is a nationally recognized illustrator and fine artist. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in New Media and Illustration from the State University of New York at Fredonia in 2005.He continued his education at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California, where he received his Master of Fine Arts in 2009.
His work has been honored with numerous accolades, including Best in Show in the Great Lakes Emerging Artist Competition, finalist recognition in The Artist’s Magazine Annual Art Competition, and Gold Medals in advertising from both the Society of Illustrators of New York and the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles. His work has also been juried into the Communication Arts Illustration Annual.
Bonilla currently lives and works in Buffalo, New York, where he divides his time between painting and teaching part-time at the SUNY at Fredonia. Through both his creative practice and instruction, he remains dedicated to advancing the craft of painting and inspiring the next generation of artists.
